Who this is for

A document practice. The plat and the description have to work in a closing file — not look finished on a wall.

  • Title companies

A plat you can attach and a description that matches the record. Boundary work, ALTA/NSPS, easement exhibits.

  • Closing attorneys

Metes-and-bounds when scoped, written so counsel can put it in the instrument. The surveyor does not write the deed.

  • Civil engineers

Topographic plats for design. CAD on request. Staking is a separate, limited product — see Services.

  • Landowners

Lines and corners on a plat you can hand to a neighbor, a fence builder, or your attorney. What the survey did, and what it did not.

Who this is not for

  • Not statewide

No fake “anywhere in Tennessee” coverage. If the county is not on the list, I do not take it.

  • Not “just mark one line”

A pin in the ground without a survey is not this practice. The product is the documents — plus the field work that supports them.

  • Not a copy of the neighbor’s survey

I survey from the record and the field, not by tracing the drawing next door onto your deed.
